Very good with our pets.

We have been using this vet for 15 years. After Dr Beaver sold we started seeing the new vet. The new vet informed us our cat needed oral surgery, about 2 years ago. He suddenly dropped dead leaving us a visit with a traveling vet who said her heart murmur was so severe surgery would likely kill her. I was sad the man passed but happy his poor judgment didn’t end my cats life too early. The new vet said to keep giving her wet food and love. (Basically hospice, come back when she needs euthanasia) Fast forward, to September we brought our newest dog and within 14 days she gained one pound (between vaccines). So her spay quote went from $450 to $900. Then today our elderly cat got outside so I went to buy flea and tick medicine. I was told I needed to bring her back for an exam to get a prescription for the flea and tick medicine. $$ Since Dr Beaver has left the clinic is anything but kind and well thought out. I had been frustrated but after today I hope they know how bad their service truly has gotten. Drive to Waterboro if you want an honest experience. It used to be a good local spot. Not anymore. It’s sad What’s more interesting is the lack of recent good reviews. There used to be more The townspeople are too nice to say what they are thinking.

I want to commend every member of Sacopee Veterinary Hospital, especially Dr. Bondeson and Kate, for their exemplary and compassionate care of Whitey during his euthanasia. They were so very kind and did everything humanly possible to make Whitey comfortable, answer my questions, and accommodate my wishes. My heart breaks, but I find solace that Whitey’s final moments were in the hands of very loving and caring people. Thank you.

All staff from front desk, technicians and doctors are so kind, informative and caring. You can tell they truly love what they do and genuinely care about your pets, they also are very transparent and helpful with any questions about cost of procedures. Only taking my fur babies to them from now on! 😊
