People who have never owned a bunny often don't understand how you can become so attached to them...because it's not a cat or dog a lot of people just don't understand the amazing bond and relationship you create with your rabbit. Finding a vet who cares, respects and understands that bond can be difficult. SMHSM got us in with an appointment the very next day after calling. Dr ford was kind and knowledgeable and I feel very comfortable choosing them as my new vet for my rabbits and future rabbits

Staff was extremely friendly and caring. My guinea pig Wilma was having difficulty chewing and appeared unwell. Staff was able to schedule her appointment 3 business days later which was a surprise and relief! The vet found some swelling in her mouth and prescribed two antibiotics. My guinea pig was back to her normal self and healthy within a few days! The price was less than half of what I expected to spend going in. There are no guinea pig vets within 2 hours from my house and we have tried some other vets in the past but I will only be going here from now on! Thank you so much to the outstanding staff!

Amazing place. Dr. Ford and his staff were so kind and careful with my Guinea pigs. I was surprised by his depth of knowledge, as I previously took my boys to a vet that didn't specialize in small animals. I think there's a reason people cross state lines to come here! Highly recommended if you want the best care for your little buddies :)
