I have been bringing my dog here for many years. I brought my beautiful Rottweiler in yesterday after her waking up in the morning pooping blood and no stop vomiting. They ran blood tests, xrays and ultrasounds. They gave her some anti nausea shot and told me that they would like to do an IV but she kind of scared them as she will growl if someone touches her that she doesn't know which is not uncommon. They sent me home with her and of course $1000 lighter wallet. When I got home something just didn't feel right, I had a bad feeling that my baby wouldn't make it through the night so I loaded her back in the vehicle and headed for the emergency vet in Lewiston. They brought me right in and after a brief wait, advised me that she was suffering from HGE and was very close to going into shock....they did not feel that she would have made it much longer without intervention. Thank God I did not listen to this incompetent vet, if you are not able to overcome your fear of animals maybe you should do something else! Thank God for the professionalism of the Lewiston vet and my baby is doing better this morning, might take a couple more days to get her back but we'll worth it to have her healthy again! DO NOT bring your pet to this vet unless you don't care about them, I regret going there ever and if you work there and are reading this, you should be ashamed of yourselves for such subpar treatment!!!

I take my dogs here and also to another vet when I'm in Louisiana. This clinic is so great at working with me and the other vet's office to maintain their heartworm medication protocol, as well as catching them up on their Lyme disease vaccines. I've been taking my dogs here since they were 3 months old and the staff and veterinarians have always been great.
