Dr. Bustard's philosophy is refreshing to see in a vet practice. Our dog, Leo, has high anxiety at the vet and with nail clipping. They went above and beyond my expectations when Dr. Bustard and her staff took extra time to work with Leo and attempt to make him comfortable vs. rushing him through the visit. She sat with him, letting him grow use to her. He went from completely anti-vet initially to taking treats and giving her paw (until the shots came out of course). It's a work in progress still but we were also offered the opportunity to work with Leo through "happy visits" at no extra cost so he can begin to associate the vet with more positive experiences. They also offered lots of actionable advice for his care going forward. I'm very optimistic about our future relationship with Oceanside Animal Hospital!

Dr. Tamara was wonderful! My little guy has had a really hard young life, a stray from Eagle Pass Texas who was abused and left on his own! We were 1 1/2 yrs getting him home to Maine. The tick born illnesses and broken leg nearly killed him. Dr Tamara was so gentle and kind, she got right on the floor with him. Her staff was also gentle and kind, and Kaleb took a shining to Amy specifically, who was absolutely wonderful and so helpful! This little guy holds a soft spot in my heart, and to know that he is being well taken care of by his dr and staff....is a very BIG deal to me, so thank you all very much!

Exceeded all expectations on every metric. GORGEOUS facility, sweetest staff, amazing Dr. Received the whole works with vaccinations, 3 medical issues addressed, and total cost for my dog was half what I expected. I wish I could give 10 stars.

4/7/26: Today we said goodbye to our beautiful soul Bones. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Bustard & staff. They are so very kind, and very good at what they do. Talking about the financial part is always yucky feeling, but they will break it down for you, and have a number of services to choose from. I really love this place, it's why I drive just over a hour to come here with my other animals. Edit: 3 years later! I truly love this practice. All the employees are wonderful, and the office itself is beautiful. I bring both my pups here. Animal care certainly is not cheap, but I find their price is very fair and reasonable. This is my first time visiting with my 4-month-old puppy, Dunkin. I love the location, it's set back and a wooded area and the facility is beautiful. The nurse and the vet were both very nice and the appointment was quick and efficient. I live about 50 minutes away from Trenton, but it's definitely worth the trip.
