this vet practice declaws cats upon owner request, laser and scalpel. it’s a clinic with many wonderful people and resources, so i hope they reconsider doing this harmful procedure.

Drs. Peter Smith and Dr. LeBoef have been wonderful caring for my Molly, who is 10 months old and has problems relating to her specific breed. Staff has been very helpful with prompt appointments and advice. Thank you! Julie M.

This place is wonderful! I had a parrot emergency last week. I could find no local vet to help. (including one who I am a client of ). I called YVC ; they didn’t know me at all, but they graciously arranged for the birds to be seen between scheduled visits 2 days hence. They treated me like a long-time client, took care of the birds, and gave me a discount because I am a rescue! I have operated Siesta Sanctuary for parrots in Harmony, Me, 2 hours north of Yarmouth since 1999. Finding veterinary help anywhere near has been an eternal problem. I was so surprised at the warm welcome I received here from my initial phone call to my day at the facility. Dr. Peter Smith and all his staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. I will continue here in spite of the long drive. Thank you All!
