York Animal Hospital, well I was a client with Dr. Thompson. He was a great vet with my older girl. I raced to the vet more often than I want to recall if there was a change with her- at all. She was 14 of course things were different. He was compassionate, the entire staff was. They were gentle and a great crew. Then came Dr Bill and Dr Barb. I don’t do well with change. Reluctantly I tried them out. They are so great! They are a perfect blend of your old school neighborhood Vet with more advanced approaches, guidance, and medicine. I absolutely love York Animal Hospital and could go on and on about them. I stayed with them when we moved to the top of midcoast-maine. It was about 2 hours each way. Some people might think that’s crazy, perhaps it was. My dogs were comfortable going in and out of the office. They provide more than exceptional care and I appreciate their bedside manner, especially Dr. Bill. I moved to California for work which also meant a new vet. I was so concerned about finding someone great. Someone with similar - everything. It’s been 2 years and lucky for me and my pups we found someone great here. As I prepare for a big move back east, without my older girl. I look forward to calling them my vet again. And yes, I’ll be in my house 2 hours away and traveling to and from York Animal Hospital once again. They have a wonderful staff and practice. I cannot thank them enough for being so great for so long! (Photos below, 13 years old :) such beach babes
